How CSLA fits

RecTrac runs the rec system. CSLA runs the season.

CSLA doesn't replace RecTrac. It sits beside it, picks up the work RecTrac wasn't built for: longitudinal skill development, parent-facing growth, and the document workflow the competitive sports division actually needs.

We hold your data the way Lincoln held the Union

Two systems, one division

Who does what.

RecTrac handles

Registration, billing, facilities, finance.

DPR's system of record across all 80+ rec centers. Keep using it for what it does well.

  • General program registration

Open enrollment, waitlists, season-pass purchases. The system of record for who signed up for what.

  • Point of sale and billing

Counter receipts at every rec center, payment processing, refunds, recurring billing for memberships.

  • Facility booking and scheduling

Gym time, pool lane reservations, room rentals, equipment loans. The shared calendar across all 80+ centers.

  • Finance and reporting

GL coding, daily deposits, season-over-season revenue, audit-ready financial exports.

CSLA handles

Skill growth, documents, coach clearance.

The competitive sports division's working surface for parents and volunteer coaches. The things RecTrac wasn't built for.

  • Skill growth, week over week

Coach logs eight skills per sport on a 1-5 rubric. Parent sees the trend and one coach note pinned at the top: 'Try this:'.

  • Parent Report Card per athlete

Replaces the multi-line chart with a vertical scroll of skill cards. One row, one rating, one trend, one action.

  • Per-child document vault

Sports physical, residency proof, registration form, medication ack. Status states, 365-day expiry warnings, fillable forms.

  • Coach clearance file

Volunteer application, background check, conditional TB test, handbook ack. Clearance badge on the coach profile.

  • Parent and coach in one app

Two role-based surfaces sharing the same household. Coach scores live; parent sees the update without a reload.

The integration

CSLA pulls the household from RecTrac. Coaches and parents do everything else here.

When a family registers through RecTrac, CSLA mirrors the household record and links each athlete to the right team. Coaches log skill scores, parents upload documents, both watch growth, all without re-keying anything DPR already has on file.
